This Shipping & Installation Policy outlines how Williams Furniture handles delivery, installation, timelines, fees, and customer responsibilities. By placing an order with Williams Furniture, you agree to the terms described below.


1. Delivery Coverage

Local Delivery (GTA)

  • We offer local delivery within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Same-day or next-day delivery may be available for in-stock items, subject to availability, order volume, and delivery schedule.

Delivery windows are estimates and not guaranteed.

Canada-wide Shipping

  • Select products (including massage chairs and gazebos) are eligible for Canada-wide shipping.
  • Remote or rural locations may require additional transit time or carrier surcharges.

2. Shipping Fees

  • Shipping fees vary based on:
    • Product type and size
    • Delivery location
    • Shipping method
  • Any applicable shipping fee will be clearly communicated before order confirmation.
  • Promotional offers such as “Free Shipping Canadawide” apply only to qualifying products and do not include installation unless explicitly stated.

3. Installation Services

Availability

  • Installation service is available within the GTA only.
  • Installation is optional unless otherwise stated for specific products.

Installation Fees

  • Installation fees are not included in the product price unless explicitly stated.
  • Fees vary depending on:
    • Product type
    • Product size (e.g., gazebo dimensions)
    • Installation complexity and site conditions
  • Exact installation fees will be provided before scheduling.

Installation Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Clear and safe access to the installation area
  • Level ground and appropriate surface conditions
  • Necessary permissions from property management, landlords, or municipalities (if applicable)

Williams Furniture reserves the right to decline or reschedule installation if site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.


4. Delivery & Installation Scheduling

  • Delivery and installation dates are coordinated after order confirmation.
  • Changes requested by the customer may result in additional fees or delays.
  • Missed appointments without prior notice may be subject to a re-delivery or re-installation fee.

5. Inspection & Acceptance

  • Customers must inspect products at the time of delivery or installation.
  • Any visible damage or missing items must be reported immediately or noted on the delivery receipt.
  • Claims reported after delivery may not be eligible for compensation.

6. Access & Delivery Limitations

Williams Furniture is not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays caused by weather, traffic, carrier issues, or events beyond our control
  • Inability to deliver due to size constraints (stairs, elevators, doorways)
  • Damage caused by inaccurate delivery information provided by the customer

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Stairs, long carry distances, or special handling
  • Failed delivery attempts due to access issues

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Williams Furniture is not liable for delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased, to the extent permitted by law.
  • We are not responsible for damage to pre-existing structures, surfaces, or landscaping unless caused by gross negligence.
